KBF and B.A.S.S accepts all Ketch boards including the Ketch Karbonate.
The Hobie Bass Open Series accepts ALL metal Ketch boards. No other board is permitted.
Most local and regional series either accept Ketch Boards or only accept Ketch Boards, but please check with your trail to ensure you’re within the rules.
Some trails for example require a metal board only meaning you cannot use the Ketch Karbonate board for their series.
The Ketch ID holder is connected to the Ketch ID with 3M™ Dual-Lock™ which is more durable than conventional hook-and-loop material.
It also isn’t fabric so it’s much easier to clean and won’t hold odors.
Watch the video for more information about Ketch ID and how the 3M™ Dual-Lock™ works.
If you have further questions about the Ketch ID please use the contact page.
The best option for Saltwater is the Karbonate or Ketch X board. We do not recommend the Powder coat original Ketch board. If you are worried about UV or fading, we solely recommend the Ketch Karbonate.
We do not recommend storing your Ketch board inside the hull of your kayak due to humidity and warmth, the longevity of your Ketch board could be shortened. Doing so can void the warranty on your Ketch board. The safest place is using the Ketch Keeper and storing it on your kayak or kayak crate.
Stock colors should only be out of stock for a few days before they will be available again.
Here at Ketch Products, non customized boards leave our headquarters within 1-2 business days. Business days include Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Custom Bump Boards will not leave any sooner if you choose the faster method of shipping.
