DIY Wiring & Light Mount Solutions for Any Kayak

Not every kayak comes ready for the accessories you want to install. The Ketch Universal Plate Series gives you a clean, durable way to add wiring access, power connections, or a navigation light base to virtually any kayak hull or deck surface.

These plates are designed as true universal solutions, meaning they are not bolt-on replacements for factory plates. Installation requires drilling a hole and mounting the plate with the included hardware. If you’re comfortable doing basic Do-it-Yourself projects and kayak rigging, these plates provide a clean, professional-looking install point for lighting or wiring components.

Each plate is machined from 6061 aluminum, finished in Midnight Black anodizing for corrosion resistance, and built 100% in the USA.

Ketch Universal Light Base Plate

A universal mounting solution for installing a navigation light base on kayaks that were not originally designed for one.

This plate is designed to work with the Attwood LightArmor 910R system (2- or 3-pin) and is ideally paired with the Firefly Diamond Jr 360° kayak light. With a clean aluminum mounting surface and integrated hardware, it provides a solid foundation for a reliable lighting setup.

Designed to provide a clean mounting platform for the Marinco 70A plug and receptacle system, commonly used for removable lighting setups on kayaks.

If your kayak doesn’t have a factory receptacle location, this plate allows you to install one exactly where you want it.
